About

So about me…ok. I grew up in the great state of Missouri. I am the oldest of 4 children. My parents were horse trainers for much of my life, and my mother was a sketch artist and seamstress as well. My father was a hard worker but had an illness. His love was phenomenal . He got worse and life got very difficult for us. It remained hard and a lot of tragic events happened over the years. That is life. I started drawing and painting at a very young age, I remember wanting to do it all of the time. I’ve worked many types and have lived many places yet I’ve always called Missouri home because of my fathers fondness of the state. So many rivers and lakes…….Green grass, fertile soil. I plant a vegetable garden and keep chickens, dogs and horses on my little farm East of Kansas City Missouri. I enjoy the open pasture for my 2 horses that I enjoy very much. I love art and I love life and I hope you enjoy my art style. The horses I draw are very different from the ones I ride. Enjoy the show on Instagram , Thank You. To own one of my works go on Instagram to find me. I am now on Etsy under Art so strange by Tara. Love hard people, life is short…..

I love living in the mid west, but just like in the big cities, there are drugs everywhere. The small towns of Missouri are riddled with methamphetamine and the things people use to try to make their own seems to be at easy access to the public from farms and hardware stores. This home made drug is eating away at our country and destroying the heart and soul of this country. There’s a big difference between freedom of choice and legal suicide and to allow our fellow human beings to feed an addiction that only results in jails, institutions or death is damning to the entire human race. I’ve noticed a slight positive change in my area around here, but with the recession that’s bound to come, only people can save people at this point. I’m starting a small outreach group and we will be donating art supplies to depressed teens. Start today by just reaching out to 1 family that may need a kind word or art supplies to cheer up their kids at home. I learned my art skills and passion for it at a very young age, so any time is a good time to start expressing yourself through a craft or an art. Photography and sewing also is very relieving for kids. Most importantly, don’t ever give up on each other. People need people.
